2021 Q4 Farmer Facebook Page Report

Membership During Q4, the members of the California Dairy Farmers Facebook page experienced a 0.4% overall increase in followers from 722 followers at the start of Q4 to 725 followers at the end of Q4. Out of the 27 membership requests, 6 new members were approved in Q4. The vetting process identified 21 individuals in Q4 who were not appropriate members for the page’s community (21 people declined and 0 blocked). Post Engagement There were 53 posts during Q4, which is lower than the overall average of posts throughout the past 16 quarters (66 posts). There were 540 reactions (likes, comments, shares) during the quarter, down 30 percent from the previous quarter (778 reactions), which averages to 10.3 engagements per post (53 total posts). The post that drew considerable engagement on Dec. 6 th (104 engagements) was that of Maureen O’Sullivan Lemos posting about becoming the newest member of the CMAB and paid tribute to Dante Migliazzo for his service.
