Ag Day at the Capitol Thalia and Melissa attended Ag Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, March 19 th . The 2024 event was well attended by legislators, capitol staffers and regulators from Sacramento as well as members of the public. We shared promotional materials with about 1500 people and had engaging conversations with attendees.

California Dairy Sustainability Summit CMAB co-hosted the California Dairy Sustainability Summit on March 25 th in Visalia, CA. The event hosted 300 attendees ranging from dairy farmers to regulatory bodies, lawmakers, industry supporters and leading researchers to showcase California’s world leading

achievements and ongoing progress in climate-smart dairy farming practices. As part of the Summitt, CMAB hosted an advocacy breakout session featuring Dayna Ghirardelli of the Sonoma County Farm Bureau and Sonoma County dairy producer, Doug Beretta, who spoke about the lessons learned from the recent Measure J defeat.
