Butter with the seal saw a 16.3% increase in sales and 15.7% growth in volume, far exceeding the 3.4% growth in non-sealed butter sales and a 3.6% decline in volume. Cottage cheese with the seal also performed exceptionally well, climbing 25.0% in sales and 26.7% in volume. In comparison, non-sealed cottage cheese also grew but slightly less, at 24.1% in sales and 16.6% in volume. Natural cheese with the RCM seal grew by 8.2% in dollar sales and 6.9% in volume, compared to more modest gains from non-RCM seal natural cheese (3.9% sales growth, 2.1% volume growth). Even yogurt with the seal surged, with 43.3% dollar growth and 36.3% increase in volume, while non-sealed yogurt grew 13.7% in sales and 10.3% in volume.
