Year to date, the total cottage cheese category has seen a significant increase in dollar sales, with a 15.2% growth compared to the previous year. This growth is primarily driven by brands such as Good Culture and Daisy, which have experienced substantial increases in both dollar and volume sales. Good Culture, in particular, has shown impressive growth with a 102.1% increase in dollar sales and an 85.5% increase in volume sales compared to the previous year. This suggests that Good Culture is successfully capturing market share and driving overall category growth. Daisy, another key player in the cottage cheese market, has also contributed to the growth of the category with a 26.1% increase in dollar sales and a 26.4% increase in volume sales year over year. This indicates that Daisy's products are resonating with consumers and driving demand within the cottage cheese segment. Additionally, private label brands have also seen growth, albeit at a slightly lower rate compared to Good Culture and Daisy, with a 12.3% increase in dollar sales and an 11.3% increase in volume sales year over year. In terms of distribution and store performance, both Good Culture and Daisy have shown improvements in average weekly items per store selling, dollars per store selling, and volume per store selling compared to the previous year. On the other hand, brands like El Mexicano, Los Altos, and Queso Del Valle have captured a larger share, with notable increases in both volume and dollar sales.
