Q1 2024 Dairy Performance Report - Weeks Ending 3.31.24

According to Circana reports, total dairy sales during the first quarter of 2024 showed a positive performance, surpassing the total sales from the same time last year. The total dollar sales in 2023 increased by $595 million, representing a 2.58% growth compared to the same time last year. Unlike 2023 Sales growth that was driven by retrial price increases, YTD sales growth is driven by volume growth which is up 2.61% in Q1 vs same time year ago Among the different dairy categories, the Yogurt category exhibited the highest total dollar sales growth, with an increase of $115 million, representing a 4.6% growth compared to Q1 2023. This was followed by Natural Cheese, which saw an increase of $84 million, and Cottage Cheese, which experienced a growth of $53 million.
