2024 Short-Course and Events Planning CDIC staff is working with collaborating academic institutions and industry partners for its program of short courses and conferences in 2024. The availability of short courses is promoted through advertising, professional social media, press releases and short features in industry publications.

Attracting New Workforce

2024 Internships In 2024, CDIC is actively involved with several California processors seeking to hire interns from partner academic institutions, arranging meetings with faculty, food science clubs and individual faculty. CDIC staff serves in a networking capacity, receiving resumes of suitable candidates, and helping California processors identify students who match their needs. To date, seven interns are also working on projects for CDIC and the Pacific Coast Coalition.
