College Dairy Advocacy Program

While the college dairy advocacy program has been on a brief hiatus this early spring, CMAB engaged with on-campus events at Cal Poly and CSU Chico this spring. In planning for the upcoming school year, the Producer Relations team hopes to implement four core activities on three campuses in 2023-2024 (Cal Poly, SLO, CSU Fresno, CSU Chico), with plans to expand to add two additional campus groups in 2024-2025 (UC Davis, Modesto Jr College). The preliminary “core - activities” we’re pl anning for are: 1) Dairy Club Meeting Presentation (Sept/Oct) 2) Give-A-Gallon Challenge College Bowl Edition (to include additional campuses) (Sept/Oct)

3) Media and Message Training (Jan/Feb) 4) On-Campus Promotional Events (Spring)

International Internship CMAB’s International Internship took a hiatus in 2023, but we’re pleased to bring the program back in 2024. A pplications will go “live” on October 15 th , with a deadline of December 1 st , 2023. Interns will be announced in early January of 2024. This year, CMAB will host up to 6 interns in 3 countries, including Taiwan, Mexico, and South Korea.
