2023 May Board Book
Milk Marketer’s Playbook – Digital Optimization Project Extension The Milk Marketer’s Playbook is a comprehensive guide to digital marketing strategies that are specifically tailored for dairy product marketers. To create this playbook, the team has collaborated with Steve Lerch, a seasoned digital marketing expert and founder of Story Arc Consulting. The playbook builds upon the Digital Optimization Project, which aims to improve the online presence and visibility of milk marketers. The goal is to provide step-by-step instructions on how to leverage various Google assets such as Google Analytics, Google My Business, SEO within Google, YouTube, and Google Trends. These assets are critical for the success of any digital marketing campaign, and the playbook will help milk marketers to better understand and utilize them to their fullest potential. Steve Lerch will curate videos that provide a brief introduction to each Google asset, explaining why it is important and how it can be used to improve digital marketing efforts. In addition to the videos, a bite-size one pager will be included in the playbook for those who need top-level information. These resources will be housed within the Processor Partnership Canto portal, which is a platform that provides tools and resources for partners of the CMAB. The launch of the Milk Marketer’s Playbook is expected to take place in mid-May or early June. This will give milk marketers ample time to study and apply these tools and strategies outlined in the playbook before the start of major dairy heavy months (Back to School and Holiday Season). By leveraging the knowledge and expertise of Steve Lerch and the Google assets outlined in the playbook, milk marketers will be better equipped to attract and retain customers, increase brand awareness, and ultimately grow their businesses.
