The CMAB staff provides publicity for all contests via press releases to local media, Facebook posts, and letters and emails to district dairy producers about upcoming events and contest winners. Dairy Princess Training will be held in Turlock on July 10 th -14 th . The four-day training will be similar to the 2022 event, with a focus on providing the Dairy Princesses with public speaking and presentation skills, etiquette training, social media training and an overview of the California Dairy Industry.

The District 2 Contest was on April 1 st , 2023 at the Petaluma Veterans Hall. Pictured are Emma Stafford(R) of Tomales, crowned Dairy Princess, and Tauni Fasano(L) of Rohnert Park, crowned first alternate.

Dairy Princess Activities From February through April the Dairy Princesses and Alternates delivered the California dairy message to classrooms, and community events statewide. In total, the princesses participated in 23 classroom visits reaching approximately 600 students and 15 community events. In addition, these young ladies made 53 posts creating approximately 10,386 impressions (views + likes) on social media. In addition to classroom visits and social media, Dairy Princesses and alternates attended 15 community or industry events throughout the state including the Western Classic Junior Dairy Show in Tulare, the California Holstein State Convention in Turlock and the World Ag Expo in Tulare and the California Women in Agriculture Luncheon.
