E-Introductions Throughout 2022 and 2023, the Processor Partnerships team has made 82 e-Introductions of Brands to Processors, Processors to Processors and other connections. The goal of these introductions is to expand on opportunities to build out more volume for California dairy. These e-introductions averaged about 6 introductions a month throughout last year. Many opportunities came within the last few months of 2022. One example is the Three Peaks Brand, a drinkable yogurt sold to the US Army with potential to expand to the Marines, Navy, and Air Force. The CMAB made the connections and followed this through to help the processor better understand the potential collaborative benefits. Another key introduction was for Goon with the Spoon, who needed added capacity for new business with Walmart.com. New Partners to the RCM Program New Seal Partners – November 2022 to January 2023 CMAB Seal partners are broken down into four groups: Brand Marketers (BM) – Companies that own a brand/product but no processing facility Cheese Processors (RCM) – Companies that process and market cheese Dairy Product Processors (RCM) – Processors of dairy products other than cheese Cut/Wrap Processors – (CW) Companies who cut/wrap cheese and assist in distributing it • Sweetkiwi (BM) - Sweetkiwi is an award-winning, woman and minority-owned CPG brand bridging the gap between good for you, functional nutrition, and great taste. They offer low-calorie nutrient-dense treats including Whipped Greek Yogurt, similar to a frozen yogurt but ranging from only 280 to 320 calories per pint. Their protein packed whipped yogurts will soon bare the seal after a label review on February 7 th . • Next Notion Inc. Dba Amazing Ice Cream (RCM) - Amazing Ice Cream is an ice cream and frozen novelty manufacturer based out of Stockton that has been processing ice cream since 2018. They have added the Seal to their newest product, Cookie Wild, a crunchy ice cream sandwich. More delicious projects are underway with a Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwich, Ice Cream Macaroon Sandwiches, Boba Ice creams and more. With the continued growth of novelties, Amazing Ice Cream is a welcomed partner.
