Processor Partnerships Update

Ben Yee, Processor Partnerships Director Introduction Ben joins the CMAB with 20+ years with Safeway/Albertsons. He brings diverse experience in many areas including category management, strategic sourcing, brand management, self manufacturing and commercialization, portfolio optimization, and innovation. Ben worked on multiple categories in the center of the store, perishables including produce, floral, and deli food service. His last 7 years were focused on Dairy where he led countless initiatives across Lucerne, Open Nature, O Organics and Signature Select brands. Ben was also the company’s lead on converting conventional eggs to more humane cage-free products. He is excited to bring his vast network connections, expertise in launching new items and industry knowledge to the processor and producer community and will bring innovative ideas to help increase partnerships and collaboration.
