Upcoming Conference:

October 11-14, 2022 Product, Process and Packaging Innovation Conference Cliffs Resorts, Shell Beach, California In collaboration with CalPoly San Luis Obispo, and the Pacific Coast Coalition. The program features sessions on product, process, and packaging innovation, as well as a special export session. Industry, academia, and suppliers will network during the 3-day conference and learn about new solutions to innovation challenges. Expanding our Research and Application Capacity

CDIC and Business Development staff met with representatives from CalPoly Pomona, California State University Long Beach and Chico State to discuss the feasibility of collaboration for applications, pilot plant expansion, short-courses. Short-courses will be initiated at Chapman University in January 2022 as result of meeting held during the summer.

CDIC Staff met with dairy researchers at the Annual meeting of the American Dairy Association, attended the Build Dairy/ Dairy West Annual meeting in Utah and met with faculty at the Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

Chapman, Chico State and Washington State joined the Dairy Business Innovation Initiative

and will receive funding to implement applications and training programs.
