Cooking School Promotion with Cooking School Park (from June to September)

The CSP tie-up cooking lesson started during July. Ten CSP instructors created cooking lessons using California Burrata Cheese and Smoked Cheddar Cheese. Each instructor taught cooking methods using California Cheese, including a tasting. Our goal is to reach at least 300 consumers with this lesson. This promotion also collaborates with “cotta”, an online shopping store, and “the food.jp", an online store for California Burrata Cheese. The promotion’s main objective is lead ing the consumers to e-commerce stores offering California Cheese.

California Pizza Contest 2022

The 4th California Pizza Contest is underway. The contest is being promoted continuously via CMAB SNS and Shibata Shoten’s magazines. Shibata Shoten is following up with chefs who received a direct message about the contest. Initial judging is September 27th, with final judging October 26th.

Categories: Napoli Pizza Style, Real California Pizza (Plant-forward, the Real California, Cal-Mex), Pizza Bread Judges: Pizza Chef Masakazu Iwasawa (Pizzeria Gtalia Da Filippo), Pizza Chef Mitsutaka Suzukawa (Perte), and Bakery Chef Akimasa Sugikubo (Ultra Kitchen Inc).

Contribution of Cheese for Bakery Seminar hosted by USAPEEC

USAPEEC Japan conducted a Bakery Seminar using US Dried Eggs at Belle Époque Sapporo Culinary & Confectionary School August 22nd. We contributed California Colby Jack and Smoked Cheddar Cheeses for this. Guest instructor, Chef Yutaka Yamasaki, demonstrated bread making for 40 students. Chef Yamasaki created two recipes using California Cheeses. These recipes will be posted to the CMAB website.

TAIWAN

A total of 56 in-store demonstrations were/will be conducted for Costco Wholesale Taiwan’s “Kirkland Signature” nonfat Greek yogurt in their 14 store outlets island -wide.
