• Snow Mountain Dairy Corp is a manufacturer of canned liquid milk and milk powder drinks. They, too, are in talks to ship in bulk UHT from California, package them in the country and sell as UHT milk. Singapore Product samples of JoeFroyo have been sent to Seawaves and they liked the product quality and taste. The samples had been tested with some of Seawaves’ customers and the results had been encouraging. However, Seawaves felt the the products were overly pricey and had difficulty in penetrating the market. As the product opportunity wasn’t moving forward, JoeFroyo had been linked to Cold Storage Supermarket directly with the hope of getting the landed cost lowered selling directly to the retailer. Cold Storage tasted the product too and liked it. JoeFroyo had been introduced to the buyer at Cold Storage and both the parties have initiated the communication. Ingoduna has received the samples of Rizo Lopez and its team has tasted the Oaxaca cheese. Indoguna is now working with HarbyrCo on the costing for market acceptability and sending the product samples for its customers to try out too. Ben Foods is very keen on RockView’s ESL Milk which the samples are sent by HarbyrCo. Ben Foods is hoping to launch a line of California ESL Milk under its private label with Rockiew. HarbyrCo is working on the minimum order quantity and other details for Ben Foods to study. With the great success of the American Food Festival organized by the Culinary Institute of America (Singapore Campus), the CIA is looking forward to organizing the same event again in October 2019. The CIA is considering organizing the event like 2018 where a group of elite Singapore consumers were invited to buy dinner tickets to enjoy the gourmet foods prepared and served by the CIA at its campus restaurant and the California cheeses will be served with professional wine guided tasting. More details will be announced and it’s hoped that the CMAB will contribute samples for this event.
