2022 Q3 Farmer Facebook Page Report

Membership During Q3, the California Dairy Farmers Facebook page saw no growth, finishing the quarter with 766 members.

Out of 66 membership requests, no new members were approved in Q3. Q3 saw a decrease in total membership requests from 82 in Q2 to 63 this quarter (-23.17%). For membership requests deemed inappropriate, 65 people were declined membership and 1 was blocked. A request may be declined for various reasons, but most common are failure to answer questions related to dairy industry affiliation.

Post Engagement There were 34 posts during Q3, which is lower than the average of 63 posts throughout the past 20 quarters. There were 307 reactions (likes, comments, shares) during the quarter, up 9 percent from the previous quarter (275 reactions) for an average of 7.1 engagements per post (39 total posts).

According to the analytics, posts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (9 posts, comments, reactions) and Fridays (8) garnered the most engagement, while content posted on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays garnered little engagement. Moreover, users were most likely to engage with posts in windows of time from 2-3 PM and 5-9 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.
