Membership During Q1, the California Dairy Farmers Facebook page experienced a decrease in followers by 0.77 percent from 782 to 776, as the team conducted a review of the community and removed members currently not associated with the industry.
Post Engagement There were 24 posts during Q1, which is significantly lower than the average of 59 posts throughout the past 22 quarters. The 24 posts in Q1 were a 22-percent decrease from Q4. There were 167 reactions (likes, comments, shares) during the quarter, down 40.6 percent from the previous quarter (281 reactions) for an average of 6.9 engagements per post (27 total posts). The largest spike in reactions came on March 19 was in response to Melissa Lema’s post celebrating National Agriculture Day (to the right). The post earned 24 reactions and 5 comments, while reaching 58 users.
