ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATING SYSTEMS

CDRF will maintain its current lean management structure with each member of the management team assuming multiple roles and responsibilities. The primary focus of the management team will be to ensure that CDRF funds are allocated to high-quality projects aligned with the strategic direction of the organization, as well as monitoring the outcomes of these projects. Where practical, CDRF will utilize digital technology to optimize staff productivity and minimize costs. The organization will maintain the minimum required internal systems to ensure fiduciary oversight and enable accounting and regulatory compliance. All non-essential activities will be outsourced on an as-needed basis. CDRF will continue to be fiscally responsible and nimble in changing economic environments; and will prioritize its funds for research and education projects. Utilizing the directives in this plan, administration will create an annual portfolio of scientific and educational outreach research projects to be considered and approved by the Board of Directors. Staff will schedule and attend conferences and symposia as needed to both provide opportunities to network and expand CDRF collaborations and to ensure that staff are continuing to be involved in changes and opportunities within the industry.
