2024 March Board Book

This inaugural foodservice recipe contest, which features $20,000 in total cash prizes, challenges professional chefs and culinary students to develop creative dishes using California’s number one cheese product: Mozzarella. The goal is to showcase California Mozzarella and California Fresh Mozzarella in different appetizers and handheld items, excluding entrees and pizzas. In the process of discovering these champion recipes, we will celebrate and build on the reputation of the outstanding cheeses produced with sustainably sourced Real California Milk from California dairy farm families.

The 2024 Pizza Expo is coming up, March 19-21 in Las Vegas. We are using the opportunity to promote this year’s Pizza Contest:

State of the Foodservice Industry (2024, Technomic, Joe Pawlak) In 2024, innovation will continue to accelerate. On the concept development front, beverages are at the forefront, with McDonald’s well-publicized launch of CosMc’s in the Chicago suburbs.
