With the goal of hitting top traffic stores in one or more major metro areas, the cheesemaker can hit 3 stores over a weekend plus include time for education with the store staff. Education about California cheeses, how they should be merchandised, and how to talk about them with customers are key – and learning this information directly from the cheesemaker is a special moment for store staff. With plans to extend this education to others virtually, this initiative helps all of us by getting more cheese in mouths and empowering store staff to sell more California cheese. Innovation We are well underway with the 2023 RCM Excelerator. The in-person kickoff event commences 17-18 Aug with dairy and plant tours including Hilmar and Fiscalini.
