MEXICO
Taste of California
In coordination with Josh Eddy from the California State Department of Agriculture a reception dinner was coordinated on Thursday, September 7th in Mexico City at Marriot Reforma Hotel to promote different California products. A total of 80 guests attended the event including CDFA representatives, buyers, media, and chefs. A menu was developed featuring every California product highlighting the quality and characteristics of each product. As California Milk Advisory Board, we participated with mozzarella, provolone, burrata, butter and brother’s mini cones. We had a time and space to speak about the products during first, second and third course servings along with a video that highlighted the story behind the products. We talked about all dairy varieties we have as CMAB, the meaning of the seal and the current activities available for buyers. September's content strategy focused on publishing across our different platforms sharing more about the versatility of Real California Milk through different recipes and fun facts about the products through posts and stories. This month's performance was a mix of organic and paid strategies. Total community of 37,798 followers in Facebook and 5,441 followers in Instagram. Total results: 256,282 impressions and 151,329 people reached in both platforms.
