❖ “Healthy” Definition and Guidance on Plant -Based Beverages Coming

The FDA’s proposed ruling officially defining “healthy” nutrient claims and guidance on the labeling of plant- based beverages using “milk” was due by the end of June. As anticipated, it has been delayed under the reasoning of being reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget. However, the ruling on both is now supposed to be published sometime before the end of summer. We will share updates as soon as they are available.

New Seal Partners 2022 YTD – Summary -

CMAB Seal partners are broken down into four groups:

Brand Marketers (BM) – Companies that own a brand/product but no processing facility Cheese Processors (RCM) – Companies that process and market cheese Dairy Product Processors (RCM) – Companies processing dairy products other than cheese Cut/Wrap Processors – (CW) Companies who cut/wrap cheese and assist in distributing it

Our new partners as of mid-August 2022 include the following:

• Goon with a Spoon (BM) Earl “E - 40” Stevens is a multiplatinum hip -hop artist, spirits entrepreneur and chef that hails from Vallejo, California. Over the course of his 33-year career in the music industry, E-40 has released a slew of smash studio albums, collaborations and hit s ingles, including “Choices (Yup)," “U and Dat (feat T - Pain & Kandi Girl),” “Snap Yo Fingers (feat Lil Jon),” and “Tell Me When To Go,” among many others. His passion for the
