New Capacity Coming on and Potential

The CMAB works closely with over 150 dairy product processors of all sizes and capabilities. We assist these companies with syndicated data and research reports to help them determine the viability of expanding, building new facilities and/or new capabilities for new items. Below are some examples of some of the projects that are either going to happen or are in the works. The green check mark means these are done deals and are happening, the others are under consideration.

Innovation and New Product Development – Project Collaboration

The CMAB has been working on a project called Project Collaboration whereby we combine the capabilities of several processors to make an item that no one facility could make by themselves. It truly takes the strengths and knowledge of several companies and brings them together for a synergistic outcome that will benefit the industry, and all involved in the process. The main example of this is our California Sunshine Ultra-Filtered/Ultra Pasteurized Milk items. We are still in the developmental stages, working out the formulations, but have 4 collaborative processors/brand marketers working together to make this happen for California dairy. There are three of these types of projects in the works that the CMAB is spearheading and offering to the industry to spur innovation. Here is a sneak peek at what the finished product might look like for the UF Milk project:
