HUMAN HEALTH AND NUTRITION 2023 IMGC Sponsorship and SPLASH! Milk Science Update

BACKGROUND: The International Milk Genomics Consortium (IMGC) offers the milk science community an opportunity to build a unique cross-functional and supportive culture in which to share, learn and collaborate to advance milk science. It also offers a forum to increase awareness of scientific advancements and identify commercial opportunities. It does this though an annual symposium and a bi-monthly e-newsletter, SPLASH!® milk science update. OBJECTIVES: The IMGC has two major objectives and outputs: The International Milk Genomics Consortium (IMGC) Symposium and the SPLASH!® publication. The Symposium was held in the fall utilizing a hybrid meeting format-virtual format in conjunction with a physical meeting location. The SPLASH!® milk science update, will provide at least 16 articles highlighting the very best scientific articles on milk and dairy and translate the content of these articles for the non-expert. INDUSTRY BENEFIT: The IMGC and SPLASH!® bolster scientific investigation of lactation and milk; communicating scientific discoveries for stakeholders. The content of SPLASH!® will be emailed to subscribers, posted to the CDRF-owned website, milkgenomics.org, and on social media via twitter at @imgcmedia.
