Fluid Milk Question about Fat Levels At the December board meeting a question was asked after the Milk PEP presentation around a theory that with consumers shifting to whole milk, might total fat in milk actually be on a growth trajectory, versus the decline of fluid milk. The charts below show the answer. The first shows the difficult and disappointing trends for fluid milk over the last 5 years. The second shows how total fat within milk trends on the same timeframe:
