CDI to Close Los Banos Facility

CDI has officially announced it will cease operations and close its Los Banos, CA Cream Cheese manufacturing facility on March 17, 2018, affecting 63 employees.

Like any business, CDI has to regularly evaluate their assets and related contributions to the overall company. The Los Banos Cream Cheese operation was not an optimum use of company assets.

We are all hopeful that the business everyone worked so hard to develop can be kept in California, using California Milk. CDI is making an effort towards finding such a solution. The Los Banos facility has been in operation under various ownership since 1925, becoming part of the CDI family in 1999.

Producers Dairy Expands with New Facility

Producers Dairy in Fresno, CA, has purchased the Super Store Industries (SSI) milk processing facility located in Fairfield, CA, off Highway 80. The facility is capable of processing milk in paper cartons or plastic jugs and also purifies and packs water and juice items. Producers is updating their truck fleet to include the real California Milk Seal as shown.
